One of the best times to swim in the ocean is during the mornings when the water is calm. However, the afternoon is much better for surfing is that is something you would like to experience. Some of the beaches are surrounded by massive coral reefs which help shield off the rough waters beyond. This makes for amazing snorkel and scuba diving sanctuaries. Once you are below the water, you will see massive amounts of life. Every time we have been in the water, there are endless walls of fish and other aquatic creatures.

There are a lot of places to go scuba diving where you can meet whales, dolphins, and sharks. Of course it is best to go with a guide so you don’t get lost or in trouble. Most of the aquatic life is human friendly but there are dangers you need to watch out for. It is extremely cheap and practical to book a small package for the day which will include any equipment you might need. If you have taken a cruise there, you will be given package options aboard your ship. If not, then ask!

Hawaii is home to some of the best surfing in the world. In Maui, they have ocean waves that are only to be taunted by experienced surfers. If you have never surfed before, you don’t want to end up swept out to sea or worse. There are other beaches which can be had by novice surfers and by asking any locals they will help you find you way. In the summer time you want to head to the south beaches and in the winter head to the north. This will give you the perfect weather and ocean settings. It seems that during the summer, the northern beaches have flat and calm waters compared to the southern ones. However, no matter what time of year you visit Hawaii, there are always beautiful beaches for you to relax at.
